Swiss Chamber believes in resolving disputes out of court. From arbitration to mediation as an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) tool in Italy. This voluntary resolution tool is designed to meet the needs of companies, SMEs, freelancers and all professionals who, preferring to take an alternative route to ordinary court justice, choose mediation to resolve their disputes, with the advantage of significant time and cost savings.
Mediation is characterised by the centrality of the parties, mutual satisfaction and safeguarding of business relationships. The Swiss Chamber Mediation Rules: streamlined, clear and linear in their description of the procedures to be followed; inspired by speed and confidentiality and adaptable to a wide range of disputes.
The Rules‘ new features include the possibility of commencing and conducting proceedings electronically, rotation and professional expertise criteria for the appointment of mediators, a speedy start and timely processing of the outcome of the proceedings with respect to reaching an agreement.
The new Rules have been drafted by a Commission set up specifically for this purpose, made up of a pool of renowned lawyers under the coordination of Swiss Chamber.
