In line with the objective of promoting Swiss excellence in Italy, Swiss Chamber participates at FuoriOrticola with the project ll Fior Fiore della Svizzera, an impressive installation that literally blossoms Swiss Corner and the area around it.
The project is part of the week-long Orticola di Lombardia exhibition-market in the Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli in via Palestro, which has been spreading interest and love for greenery for years.
Concept and purpose of the project for FuoriOrticola
The 7 shop windows of Swiss Corner bloom thanks to the creativity of Laboratorio Idee, the Italian branch of the flower design school Atelier 5 – the first school for creative experimentation in floral art based in Basel and founded by the Swiss Peter Hess. The initiative’s technical partner for the supply of the floral material is Lombarda Flor.
For Swiss Chamber, the project Il Fior Fiore della Svizzera represents yet another opportunity to disseminate an image of Switzerland that goes beyond stereotypes, revealing yet another Swiss excellence that is less well known to date. By taking part in FuoriOrticola, it also contributes to making the city of Milan greener and spreading the values of sustainability and respect for greenery.
The project was presented during an exclusive evening-event that included speeches by all the partners collaborating in the initiative, which took place on 09 May 2023 at 6 pm at Swiss Corner
Swiss Chamber is taking part in FuoriOrticola with its partners Ricola, the historic Swiss brand and expert disseminator of the extraordinary world of plants and herbs, and Repower, a leading electricity company whose activities have always been guided by sustainability.
